Betty Ann Toro, 65, of St. Leonard, Maryland passed away on October 16, 2014 in Washington D.C. She was born on November 26, 1948 in Prince Frederick, Maryland to the late Floyd and Margaret Scott Bowen.
Betty Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all. She had a strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and was loved by all her family and friends. She always put family first in her life. Betty Ann loved everyone unconditionally, and she never judged or look down on anyone. She had a heart of gold. Betty Ann was an Angel that was sent from heaven and, god has called her home. She may be gone, but never will she be forgotten. The love that she shared is immeasurable, and she will truly be missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Michael Toro, Sr. of St. Leonard, Maryland, mother of Michael Toro, Jr. and his wife Carol of Lusby, Maryland. Grandmother of Maria Toro, Moranda Berthiaume and Kayla Tackett, great grandmother of Zayne Toro and Terra Berthiaume, she is also survived by her sisters Victoria Hall and Gloria Jean Shelor. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, Maryland from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014, 11 AM.
