Emily Virginia "Cookie" Speciale, 87, of Lusby, MD passed away on March 6, 2008 at the Solomons Nursing Center. She was born February 5, 1921in Batimore, MD.

Emily was the loving wife of the late John Richard Speciale who proceded her in death on March 10, 2004. She was also proceded in death by two children Richard Speciale and Janet Wines.

She is survived by one son James Speciale and his wife Darlene of Lusby, MD; six grandchildren , and eight great grandchildren.

Cookie belonged to the American Legion Post 274 and was a member of the Golden Girls. She loved catering food, playing golf, bowling, and a good hand of cards.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10AM in the Rausch Funeral Home Chapel, Lusby MD with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating. Interment followed in the Middleham Chapel Episcopal Cemetery. Pallbears were Matt Oneyear, Bryan Kleinhen, Keith Boswell, Travis Oneyear, Ricky Speciale, and John Speciale.
