Mr. Bowling was a lifelong resident of Charles County and a farmer. Son of the late Thomas Bowling and the late Marie Simpson Bowling.

Predeceased by his parents and his wife Mary Katherine Farrall Bowling.

Survived by one daughter Katherine Jones; four sons George C. Bowling, Charles H. Bowling, Douglas M. Bowling and Joseph A. Bowling; two sisters Lucille Hornbeak and Ethel Bowling; two brothers Philip Bowling and Roger Bowling; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, Md.

Funeral Service on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 10am at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy will be Roy Dixon.

Interment at the Bowling Family Farm Cemetery in Faulkner, Maryland.
