The Southern Maryland Weight Loss Surgery Support Group provides support for individuals thinking about or who have already had weight loss surgery (WLS). The group offers information about different types of WLS as well as provides advice about Bariatric Center of Excellence in the DC/MD/VA area. We give guidance on pre/post-op concerns; offering advice and support for you after surgery and for the long term. To be more involved and supportive, family members/friends are welcome. The support group meets every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Lexington Park Library.
