Fishing Camp is for children ages 7 - 12. Campers learn fishing skills, responsible catch and release, and crabbing. Campers who already enjoy fishing will join those who have never fished in enjoying the beautiful Patuxent River. Children of all abilities are welcome.

Horse Camp offers children ages 7 - 12 an introduction to horseback riding and horse care. Non-riders and beginner-level riders are immersed in all things equine. Daily riding lessons are the highlight and campers spend a majority of their time in the barn. Children of all abilities are welcome.
Intermediate Horse Camp is for riders ages 9 - 15. Campers must be able to walk trot and canter independently. Riders will work on pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises, simple lead changes and leg yielding.
Registration opens Feb. 1 for Greenwell Foundation members; March 1 for the general public.

Love Nature Time at Greenwell? Now your child can enjoy even more outdoor fun with Nature Time Camp! The Greenwell Foundation is offering two sessions of this new camp during the summer of 2012. Each session is four hours per day, three days a week.
Nature Time Camp is based at Greenwell''s air-conditioned Nature Center. From there campers will embark on outdoor adventures and discover their natural world through games, crafts, short hikes, exploration and more.
Each session is limited to 10 campers ages 4 years old (at time camp begins) and 5 years old who have not yet attended kindergarten.
Each camper must bring a water bottle, and lunch. Campers must be potty trained.
This camp runs from 10am-2pm. Extended care is not available for this camp.

Make the difference - Make your summer special at Summer Knights
St. Mary's Ryken High School Summer Knights program provides children and young adults (ages 8 to 18) with quality programs all summer long. Camps, clinics and workshops begin in June and run through August. There are all sorts of programs to fit your schedule: from week-long, all-day camps to one day workshops. Programs include:
- Athletic Camps - traditional week-long athletic camps focused on fundamentals of the game in basketball (boys and girls) and football.
- All About Kids - three, one-week, all-day sessions to exercise both mind and body with a morning “Get Fit!” program and a fun academic program in the afternoon.
- Middle School Pathways - three, one-week, all day sessions. Pick the week, then pick a morning and an afternoon program. All-day specialty programs include Leadership Academy, Stage and Drama, and Service Learning.
- Freshman Experience (SOLD OUT - taking names for the waiting list) - get a head start and get focused. This program prepares incoming freshman for the rigors and demands of high school.
- Summer Academy - be prepared for the next year's classes with Jump Start Algebra, Geometry and SAT Prep. Classes are non-credit.
- The College Workshop Series - Need something to boost your chances for college entrance? This is a series of evening workshops for parents and students designed to address all areas of the college search and application process.
