July 28 - Aug. 1 and Aug. 4-8, 2008. Nature Lovers Camp offers children ages 7 - 13 extended hiking, nature observation, science experiments, and a deeper look into the natural world. Explore the ecology and conservation of the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay. All campers will earn a Department of Natural Resources Junior Ranger patch. Children of all abilities are welcome.

Operated by Catholic Charitiesn this day camp will be offered in Avenue this summer at Holy Angels Sacred Heart School. It is a licensed, accredited program for children in grades K-7th; there will be outdoor and indoor activities, and weekly field trips. Hours are 7:15 to 6:00 p.m. Enrollment can be on a full- or part-time basis for the weeks needed starting June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25, July 28-August 1, August 4-8, August 11-15. Full-time cost is $130 a week first child, $115 for siblings; Part-time (2 or 3 days in same week): Trip day is $40 first child, $33 sibling, Non-trip day is $29 first child, $25 sibling. Scholorships are available for qualifying families. We welcome all our communitie's families, regardless of religion, race, income, culture, language, and people with disabilities as well.
