Charles County Outdoor Sports Programs are organized and directed by the Parks & Grounds Division of Charles County Government's Department of Public Facilities. We offer leagues in the spring/summer and fall seasons for both the youth and adult sports enthusiast. Whether you enjoy a seat in the stands cheering on your favorite team or you actually step between the lines, we have the sports program for you!

The Recreation Division is responsible for providing countywide recreational and leisure time experiences for the citizens of Charles County. Additionally, the Recreation Division administers the Gymnastics & Dance Recreation Center, a state-of-the-art facility located in Waldorf.

The purpose of the St. Mary's County Board of Recreation and Parks is to preside over a comprehensive program of public recreation, including establishment, operation, and maintenance of a system of public parks throughout St. Mary's County. Members are appointed by the St. Mary's County Board of Commissioners.
