Support the Troops Rally, Washington, D.C. - 12-April-2003

Citizens United Foundation, a nationally known and respected grassroots organization and the Young America´s Foundation, an educational organization promoting conservative ideas on our nation´s campuses, hosted a rally to let the troops, their families and President George W. Bush know we support Operation Iraqi Freedom. The rally was held on the Ellipse on Constitution Avenue in front of the U.S Capitol building. According to the Citizens United Foundation, more than 15,000 people attended the event.  An anti-war protest was also taking place a few short blocks away.
