The Triathlon includes of a 1,500 meter swim, a 24 mile bike and a 10K run. Registrations are still being accepted for the event at the cost of $100 for each individual participant and $150 for each relay team. A $10 fee will be assessed for each non-USAT registrant. Registrations can be completed online by following the link from Enduranceworks, LLC’s website at http://www.enduranceworks.net. Smallwood State Park will close its the 6 launch ramps to all boaters on both mornings and will re-open the launch ramps at 12:30 pm on both days. Dedicated as a historic park in 1958, Smallwood State Park takes its name from General Smallwood, a native born Charles County resident. At the time, the park consisted of thirty acres of land, which included the Retreat House and the grave site of General William Smallwood.
