LEONARDTOWN, Md. - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

On Tuesday, December 26, 2006, 12:34 pm, Tpr. Crook responded to the 46000 block of Adams Court in Lexington Park for a report of unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Contact was made with the female victim, 56, of Lexington Park. Further investigation revealed her 22 year old daughter took the victim's 2006 Honda Civic and may possibly be enroute to Morgantown, West Virginia. Investigation continues.

On Thursday, December 28, 2006, at 1:17 am, TFC Quade was patrolling the area of Route 235 in Lexington Park. He observed a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclispe traveling south on Route 235 south of Pegg Rd . TFC Quade initiated a routine traffic stop for an equipment violation. Upon contact with the driver, Stephen Andrew Chamberlain, 27, of Lexington Park, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. After further investigation, Mr. Chamberlain was arrested for DUI. A search incident to arrest revealed a small plastic bag of marijuana and a CDS smoking device in the vehicle. Mr. Chamberlain was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia and DUI.
