BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $14,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the manufacture of Emergency Rate Initial Production quantities of end item component parts, including engineering and analytical support for the Aging Aircraft Program. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2007. Contract funds in the amount of $100,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic solicitation with eight offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00421-06-D-0038). Eldec Corp., DBA Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Lynnwood, Wash., is being awarded a $6,688,507 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for non-recurring engineering and production of three installation kits for a C-130 Real-Time Weight and Balance System to improve aircraft safety and speed of dispatch and to reduce costs associated with man-hours and delays. Work will be performed in Lynnwood, Wash., and is expected to be completed in July 2008. Contract funds in the amount of $1,918,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
