-Enforcement of all laws applicable to St. Mary's County and the State of Maryland. -Management of the Detention Center. -Security of the Court System. -Service of Writs of Execution, Attachments, Body Attachment, and Subpoenas for Civil and Criminal Court appearance. -Protection of Persons from loss of life or injury. -Protection of Property from loss. Meeting Dates: Monthly meetings will be held the 1st Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Training Room. Board Composition: The Board Composition shall be no less than 12 and no more than 28 board members. Term Limit: Board members shall serve no more than two (2) consecutive 3-year terms.
