Assault Call Results in Two Arrests


January 30, 2005 at approximately 11:20 p. m. deputies responded to a residence on Chapman Dr in Lexington Park for a reported assault. Victim William Bean reported that he was bitten and scratched by Julia Adams-Bean. A witness was interviewed and Dfc. Christopher Morley arrested Julia Jane Adams-Bean, age 37, on the scene. She was transported to the detention center where she was charged with Second Degree Assault and held pending arraignment before a District Court Commissioner.

At the same residence was Lawrence Augustine Hill, age 67. He was checked for warrants and found to have a warrant through the Maryland State Police. He was arrested by Dep. Brian Connelly and turned over to Maryland State Police for the warrant service. A check through records revealed that the original victim William Bean had a protective order prohibiting him from entering the residence on Chapman Dr. William Richard Bean age 42 was taken into custody by Dep. Brian Connelly. Dfc. Christopher Morley charged William Bean with Violation of Protective Order. He was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he awaits arraignment before a District Court Commissioner.
