When Deputy Pesante approached the driver of the at fault vehicle he detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. The operator, identified as Jason Dewayne Wilson, displayed other outward signs of intoxication and submitted to a battery of roadside tests of which he failed. Suspect Wilson was arrested and charged with DWI and incarcerated at the St. Mary's County Detention Center awaiting a hearing before the District Court Commissioner. Suspect Wilson is a repeat offender with two (2) prior DWI violations.

Senior Deputy First Class Kevin D. Somerville observed Tanya Lynn Smith operate her vehicle into the parking lot of the Sheetz Store in Great Mills and noted that she was improperly parked. He contacted the operator and immediately noted she was intoxicated. She failed the roadside tests and was arrested and charged with DWI.
