Santa's Schedule...

Santa Claus visits with one lucky child on the square in Leonardtown, Maryland in 2006.Santa is going to be a busy boy this holiday season in southern Maryland.  Fortunately, we have sources inside his organization that were kind enough to leak his schedule to us.

Dec. 2 @ 8:30 a.m. - Breakfast with Santa at St. Andrew's Church, Rt. 4, California, Md.

The Preschool is sponsoring the Fifth Annual Breakfast with Santa on Sat., Dec. 2. Pancakes and sausage will be served, a craft activity will be available, and, of course, a visit with Santa will be the highlight. There will be two seatings at 8:30 am and 10:00 am. Price for breakfast is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children, free for under 3 years old. Reservations are required, so please call 301-862-2247!

Dec. 5 - Dec. 20 - Santa Runs by the Mechanicsville VFD

The Fire Department will be driving Santa around various neighborhoods in the Mechanicsville area on their shiniest Fire Engine from 5:30 p.m. until as late as 9 p.m.  You can find Santa's schedule on their website.

Dec. 9 @ 9 a.m. - Breakfast with Santa at the American Legion Post 274 in Lusby

Come have breakfast with Santa at the American Legion in Lusby from 9 a.m. - Noon on Sat. Dec. 09. Eggs to order, sausage, bacon, french toast and pancakes, potatoes and chipped beef. Have your picture taken with Santa. All ages welcome. Call 410-326-3274 for further details.

Dec. 9 @ 9-11 a.m. - Craft Fair and Visit with Santa at Park Hall Elementary, 20343 Hermanville Rd, Park Hall, MD

Park Hall Elementary PTA is hosting a Craft Fair and Visit with Santa! Have fun shopping for many handcrafted items as well as other vendor items such as Pampered Chef, Longaberger, Stampin' Up, and many more! Baked goods will also be available. Dec. 9 @ 10 a.m. - Pet Photos With Santa & Feline Adoption Fair at the Hughesville Bargain Barn -- White Barn

Bring out your pets to have their picture taken with Santa! Saturday December 9 @ 10 a.m. until whenever.

All proceeds benefit HappyCats Feline Adoption Group. HappyCats is a new private rescue and feline adoption group. All our adoptables are fostered in private homes, current on all age appropriate vaccines, negative for feline leukemia/FIV, spayed/neutered, free from internal/external parasites, and microchipped.

Dec. 9 @ Noon until 4 p.m. - Open House With Santa at St. Clement's Island Museum, Colton's Point

Don't miss the 21st Annual Christmas Doll & Train Exhibit at the St. Clement's Island Museum! This open house day offers FREE ADMISSION to enjoy the array of antique, character dolls and collectibles that will portray this year's theme: Twas the Night Before Christmas. The holiday spirit is celebrated in lights, decorations and music! Enjoy the working miniature trains in the Little Red Schoolhouse where your child can be the conductor!

SANTA and MRS. CLAUS will be here! Bring your camera for the perfect shot of your child sharing his special Christmas wishes with Santa! Mrs. Claus will have candy canes and hugs for everyone!

Dec. 9 @ 5-9 p.m. - Winter Wonderland with Santa at Millison Plaza, Lexington Park

Tree lighting ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Firetruck Parade with Santa from the tree to the Bay District VFD (S. Shangri-La Dr.) at 6:00 p.m. Winter Wonderland with Santa at the Firehouse from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be crafts for the children, various displays, pictures with Santa and Fire truck rides!

Dec 10-15 - Santa Runs by the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department

The Fire Department will be driving Santa around various neighborhoods in the Leonardtown area on their shiniest Fire Engine from 5:15 p.m. until as late as 8:30 p.m.  When you hear the fire trucks, come on out and meet Santa and his trusty firemen.  Call the LVFD at 301-475-8996 for more information.

Dec. 10 @ 8:30-11 a.m. - Community Breakfast with Santa at Ridge Volunteer Fire Department

The Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department Auxiliary will be hosting an All-U-Can Eat Breakfast at the Ridge Fire House on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. The menu will include: Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Fired Potatoes, French Toast Sticks, Fruit and Beverages. Dec. 16 @ 1-3 p.m. - Meet Santa at the Calvert Country Market in the Prince Frederick Shopping Center

Children and adults alike can spend a few minutes with Santa Claus and get their photographs taken for a nominal charge.  Read more here.

Dec. 16 @ 8 a.m. - Breakfast with Santa at the Forrest Center in Leonardtown

Join the students and staff of the Dr. James A. Forrest Career & Technology Center in Leonardtown for their annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 16, 2006, 8-11 a.m., at the school site. Santa will make his grand entrance at 8:30 a.m.

Enjoy a delicious mouth-watering breakfast prepared by the Forrest Center's Culinary Arts students. The cost for breakfast is $6 per adult and $3 per child ages 4-11. An omelet bar is available for an additional $2. Bring a new unwrapped toy worth at least $5 and eat for free (one free meal per toy per group).

Escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday, enjoy some home-cooking, and have your child photographed with Santa.

Dec. 16 @ 2 -4 p.m. - Swimming with Santa at Lackey High School

For Kids & Adults of All Ages. Bring your swimsuit and join Santa in the pool for a bit of holiday fun and games before his busiest day of the year! We've got quite a list of fun for everyone...a belly flop contest, cannonball contest, candy cane dives, and UNDERWATER pictures with Santa. $3 admission ($1 off admission with non-perishable food donation). Dec. 17 @ 8 a.m. - Noon - Breakfast with Santa at Fire House Station 3, 46900 Shangri-La Drive, Lexington Park

$7.00 for adults. Children 3 and under free. All you can eat. Pictures will be taken with Santa.

Dec. 17 @ 11 a.m. - Santa & Mrs. Claus on the Leonardtown Town Square

Bring your Christmas list and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Town Square on Saturday, December 16th, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All ages!

If you would like photos of your visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, please bring your camera! (In the event of inclement weather, Santa & Mrs. Claus will be in the Bell Motor Co. Showroom.)
