A group of volunteers that produce the Calvert County Fair, Calvert County Spring Fest and numerous other family type functions for the residents of Calvert County and surrounding areas. The fair is held annually in September on the fourth weekend after Labor day.

The Charles County fair is held annually in September on the second weekend after Labor Day. The website includes the schedule, driving directions and information for exhibitors. The Charles County Fair Grounds are located 3 miles south of the town of La Plata on Fairgrounds Road just off of US Route 301.

In its long and colorful history the Maryland State Fair has grown from 37 acres to over 100 acres; from sack races and greased poles to a midway filled with rides and games. The Fair allows for recognition of the hard work of thousands of 4H and FFA members.

Since 1947, country and city residents of Southern Maryland have enjoyed the St. Mary's County Fair. The fair is a four day festival of non-stop agricultural exhibits and entertainment. The fair is held annually in September on the third weekend after Labor day.
