Formed in September 2006, local group Baker's Boys is a varied ensemble focusing on original music. Best described as jazz-influenced Folk Rock, Baker's Boys compositions ride a wide variety of genres and forms. Male and female vocals, saxes, mandolin, guitar, bass, various percussion, and even the occasional clarinet, compose our distinctive sound.

Performances almost always feature entirely original music which was primarily composed by Pennsylvanian native Krys Baker, the Baker of Baker's Boys. The songs are a diary of her varied experiences, triumphs, and disappointments. Shows are always unique and compelling.

Currently, the group is working on our first CD entitled White Roses.

David Norris has been crafting songs all of his life, reflecting the heritage of his southern Maryland region through his music and art. Born and raised in the historic colonial port town of Chaptico, on the western shore of St. Mary's County, Maryland, his tunes have been recorded by such quality artists as: Blue Highway, The Seldom Scene, IIIrd Tyme Out, Larry Sparks, Valarie Smith & Liberty Pike, Jim Hurst, and Gary Ferguson and Sally Love. His song The Best Durn Ride, is the title cut of the new album by IIIrd Tyme Out on CMG Chateau Records. In 1996 his song Timberline won Nashville's Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest, in Wilkesboro, N.C. He has performed Songwriter Showcases at the IBMA (International Bluegrass Musicians Assoc) in Louisville, Ky., Picker's Supply Songwriter's Night in Fredricksburg, Va., and also represented southern Maryland at the Maritime exhibit of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2004 in Washington, D.C. Bluegrass Unlimited has described him as "one of the most refreshing new writers in bluegrass music".
