Northern High School is one of three public high schools operated by the Calvert County Public School System. It is a 4-year comprehensive school serving approximately 1700 students. The School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and the State of Maryland. Northern High School is located on Chaneyville Road off Maryland Rt.4, approximately 13 miles north of Prince Frederick, Maryland. The school is approximately 25 miles due south of Annapolis and 20 miles southeast of Washington , D.C.
