The La Plata Volunteer Fire Department, 911 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646 will be hosting a Texas Hold-Em Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday November 28, 2009.

Doors open at 5:30 PM and play starts at 7:00 PM

Cost is $125($95 to prize pool and $30 to fire department) for $5,000 in chips. NO ADD ON'S OR REBUYS. Must be 21 years old to play. CASH ONLY.

Side tables will be available.

There will be a bounty on the previous year's winners.

Free refreshments including sandwiches, beer, soda, water and coffee.

The 22nd annual Hospice Festival of Trees, the popular four-day event to benefit Hospice of Charles County, will be begin Friday, November 27th and run through Monday, November 30th. With 70 decorated trees and wreaths will be on display, the Festival is a wonderful way to kick-off the holiday season, embrace the Christmas spirit and support a very worthy cause. All Festival related activities will take place at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center located at 3090 Crain Highway (Rt. 301) in Waldorf, Md.
