Just for the evening crowd, enjoy a focused, three-part workshop designed to introduce the skills needed to make pottery using a potter’s wheel. Beginning students will dive right into the potter’s wheel while watching group demonstrations. Intermediate students can utilize this workshop to gain pointers and information for more advanced techniques. All students walk away with several pieces of pottery.

The Tri-County Weight Loss Surgery Support Group provides support for individuals thinking about or who have already had weight loss surgery (WLS). The group offers information about different types of WLS as well as provides advice about Bariatric Center of Excellence in the DC/MD/VA area. We give guidance on pre/post-op concerns; offering advice and support for you after surgery and for the long term. To be more involved and supportive, family members/friends are welcome.
