Volunteers are needed by Mike's Food Fund to help package and deliver holiday turkey dinners (a frozen turkey, bag of potatoes and canned veggies) to local families in need. We have over 2500 families in need this year, so any and all help is appreciated. We need volunteers to deliver dinners to addresses all over the county, and help to package up and load the dinners for the drivers. Please come to Zion Methodist Church, 21291 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, MD 20653 (Between Gates 2 and 3 of NAS Pax River). Doors open at 5:00 PM and help is needed until 7:00 each night or when the turkeys run out. Great opportunity for families and those students needing volunteer hours.
