March is National Disabilities Awareness Month and to recognize the impact people with disabilities have made in the community, three McDonald’s locations operated by the Welburn Organization will donate 50% of hot and iced coffee sales on Mondays to Spring Dell Center. Funds generated from coffee sales will benefit programs dedicated to connecting people with disabilities in Charles County to the community and employment. Participating locations include 109 Drury Drive, La Plata, MD 20646 (next to the Pepsi-Cola Company), 6385 Crain Hwy, La Plata, MD 20646 (Food Lion Shopping Center) and 3000 Crain Hwy, Waldorf, MD 20601 (next to Outback). Simply purchase your Monday coffee at one of these three locations, and join the movement to spread awareness about disabilities and the initiatives that transform lives locally.
Each Monday, share your McCafe Coffee by posting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #Spring4McCafe, and you will be entered into a raffle to win gifts from McDonald’s! A new raffle winner will be selected each week in March. The campaign is one of many held in celebration of Spring Dell Center's 50-years supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the community. For more information on this and other upcoming events or to learn more about Spring Dell's 50-year celebration kindly visit www.springdellcenter.org or call (301) 934-4561.
