Robbie Boothe in La Plata
Robbie has been interested in music since an early age. Growing up listening to great artists such as Rascal Flatts and Kenny Chesney encouraged and influenced him to pursue his passion. He realized just how much music means to him when he performed one of his original songs at his high school talent show to an enthusiastic audience. With the help of his family and friends he started learning to play the guitar, and performing at small venues around the place he calls home, Southern Maryland. A few months passed after he started playing acoustic gigs, Robbie met a young guitarists, Max Tucker, who blew him away. Max joined Robbie and shortly after that, they found 2 more amazing musicians who shared the same love for music. Cameron Gainer is the drummer in the band and Anthony Katsakis is the bassist. These guys are like a family and love playing music with each other and entertaining throughout Southern Maryland and beyond. In a very short time, the band has made a name for themselves, and are looking forward to the next step. They work hard and take this very seriously because they hope to make music a lifelong career. Robbie and the guys are very thankful for the people who support their music because they know that nothing is possible without the support of their fans!

The weekly concerts take place on the lawn at La Plata Town Hall. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for sitting. Coolers are allowed, but no alcohol, please. Concessions are available from the Town's food trailer located near the back of the parking lot, an ice cream truck is also stationed there for your enjoyment. A play area for children, the Kids' Zone, allows parents to enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the little ones. With the variety of music styles ranging from country, jazz, oldies, military bands, and classic rock there is something for everyone at the La Plata Summer Concert Series.
