Annual Forrest Center Senior Gala

The Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology is hosting their annual Senior Gala on Tuesday, May 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This Gala showcases student work within their vocational programs. The Gala is open to the public and will be held at the Forrest Center, which is located across from the St. Mary’s County Fair Grounds in Leonardtown, MD. Many of the Forrest Center programs will be participating. Some of the projects that will be on display will vary from the Electrical Wiring program which will show off small scale residential wiring work, to the Hospitality and Tourism program which will be showing off projects such as the Gala itself. There will also be classes such as Video Production and Graphic Communications, which will be displaying the students’ creativity through different mediums of art.

The event may be recorded and presented on SMCPS Channel 96, the school system’s cable channel, and the Internet. For more information about either event, contact the Forrest Center at 301-475-0242.
