The Abruzzo Molise Heritage Society (AMHS), in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Washington, DC, is pleased invite you to the May 15, 2016 program “The Etruscans – A Beautiful People”, in Casa Italiana (595 ½ 3rd Street NW, Washington DC) at 1:00 pm.

Please join us for lunch and a presentation by geologist, by Ms. Carla Kosciuszko, who will discuss the significance of the Etruscans to the foundation and history of Italy; theories of the origins of Etruscans; their alphabet (language); areas of Italy in which Etruscan artifacts have been found, including tombs and the afterlife; their engineering; and their art.

MENU: Lunch will be catered by Carmine’s Restaurant, Washington, DC. The menu is penne with vegetarian marinara; sausage and peppers; salad, bread, and dessert (beverages are also included).

COST: $20.00 for AMHS members; $25.00 for non-members No payments at the door. Paid reservation must be received by Peter Bell, AMHS Treasurer (328 8thStreet NE, Washington, DC 20002).
