Author and humorist David Sedaris will deliver the 10th Annual Twain Lecture on American Humor and Culture on Friday, April 15, at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The lecture, entitled "An Evening with David Sedaris," will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics and Recreation Center and will feature a reading and storytelling from Sedaris, followed by an audience question-and-answer period and book signing.
Due to limited seating capacity, this is a ticketed event. The event is free and open to the public, but all attendees must have a ticket. Tickets may be reserved beginning Wed., March 9, by going online to www.tinyurl.com/mtwain2016
Tickets reserved on or before April 1 will be mailed, while tickets reserved after April 1 will be available for pick up at the "will call" desk, beginning at 5 p.m. on the night of the event. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served. Sedaris will sign books from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. and after the event. A limited number of books will be available for purchase.
