Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, in Solomons, Maryland, will host their first-ever Owl Prowl: hot drinks and hoots, on Friday, March 18, 7-9pm. The public is invited for an afterhours hike through the garden in search of noctural residents! Your guides will be Hester Burch, Annmarie Naturalist, and special guest Bob Boxwell, Executive Director of the Cove Point Natural Heritage Trust. Bob is an environmental educator and avid birder, with a special love for owls of all sorts! Meet in the Murray Arts Building and grab a complimentary hot drink to take with you! The prowl will take you down an asphalt path and through the woods, so wear sturdy shoes; flashlights are encouraged. This event is designed for adults. Cost is $3 and includes a hot drink; reservations are not required.
