Laura Stirling of St. Inigoes, Maryland and John Port of Austin, Texas were married on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD. The bride is the daughter of Commander and Mrs. James S. Stirling. The groom is the son of John and Kimberlee Port.

The bride is a graduate of St. Marys Ryken High School and earned her degree in Hospitality Management from The Pennsylvania State University in 2008. The groom graduated from Texas A&M University in 2007 and is currently a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army and will be stationed in Fort Hood, Texas.
