Sommer Roach of Mingo Junction, OH and Michael Plyler of Hundred, WV were married on Saturday, September 24, 2005 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. The bride is the daughter of Barbara Roach and John Roach. The groom is the son of Patricia Plyler and the late David Plyler.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Hawaii.

Mrs. Barbara Roach of Mingo Junction and Mr. John Roach of Steubenville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sommer Roach, to Michael Plyler son of Mrs. Patricia Plyler and the late Mr. David Plyler of Hundred, WV.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She is employed by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division as an Aerospace Engineer and is pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology.

Her fiancé is a 1997 graduate of Hundred High School. He is also a 2002 graduate of WVU with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He is employed in the Advanced Airborne Systems Design Branch as an Aerospace Engineer for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

They will be married Sept. 24 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lexington Park, Maryland.
