AmeriCorps Volunteers are needed in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary's counties to do a variety of different jobs. The AmeriCorps program provides members with many benefits, including; a living stipend, educational award (to pay off student loans, OR continue your college education), insurance benefits, child care, work experience, professional mentoring, and the satisfaction of helping the community. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent graduates. ANY U.S. citizen 17+ years old can be an AmeriCorps volunteer.
