Concerned Black Women of Calvert County, Inc is seeking award nominations for their 1st Annual Awards Gala to be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Holiday Inn Select in Solomons, MD.

We are seeking nominees for the following award categories: Woman of the Year, Health, Business and Youth.

If you know an African American woman who resides in Calvert County, MD and whose contributions, accomplishments and services is deserving of an award in one of the award categories mentioned above. Please write an essay stating why she should be nominated along with the award category.
