Traffic Pattern to Change at Billingsley Road/Middletown Road Intersection

WALDORF, MD * The Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management announces that there will be a traffic pattern change at the existing intersection of Billingsley Road and Middletown Road on or about Tuesday, April 3, 2007.

Through traffic from west of Middletown Road traveling east on Billingsley Road will need to turn left and travel north one-fifth of a mile along Middletown Road to a new intersection. At the new intersection, drivers will turn right to stay on Billingsley Road, traveling eastward toward US Route 301.

Billingsley Road through traffic traveling west from east of Middletown Road will reach the new intersection with Middletown Road and make a left turn to stay on Billingsley Road. Traveling one-fifth of a mile will get motorists back to Billingsley Road where they will be able to turn right and continue westward on Billingsley Road.

Signs will be in place to advise the motorists of the above changes.
