First I want to start out by saying keep your head and spirit's up it is a long road but as a family you can do it. We dont know each other but I no what you and your family is going through right now. My brother in law was on his four wheeler on Nov 27, 2005 and flipped. He was flown to Baltimore shock trauma also. where he was in a self induced acoma for 2 month's and had two tubes in his head to relieve the pressure and to remove the fluid. They put a shunt in and he will always depened on that to work. He had to relearn to walk,talk and feed himself(he had a trake). My sister had to remind him and reinsure him that he did know some of us. just remember what is hard for you guys is twice as hard for him. He has severe brain damage still and it has affected his short term memory. Hopefully he will be home in October it has been a long road. After he left the shock trauma he was put in Kernan nursing facility and then to Lorien nursing and rehabilation center in columbia MD where he is now. He was 29 when he had the accident and celebrated his 30th Birthday there. They have three children and he missed the birth of there third in December but with alot of pictures and alot of incourgement he will remember.
