Nicholas "Nick" Phillip Robey, 29, of La Plata, MD died October 9, 2014. Nick was born September 19, 1985 in Annapolis, MD. He was the beloved son of Debora Lynn Gibson Mitchell and Michael Phillip Robey.

He was a loving son, grandson, and brother. He loved being near the ocean especially The Outer Banks, NC.

Nick was preceded in death by his grandmother Joanne Gibson and great-grandparents George and Dorothy Kline and John Curling.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his step-father Matthew Mitchell, step-mother Lorri Robey; brothers Maxwell and Aidan Mitchell; step-sister Katie Jones and step-brother Ryan Jones; grandparents Robert "Bob" Gibson, Wayne and Pat Robey and Pat and Shirline Mitchell; aunts Stephanie Meadows and Michelle (Frank) Jones; Uncles Jim (Kathy) Robey and Joseph "Buddy" Gibson and many cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. A Memorial Mass will be on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 8855 Chapel Point Road, Port Tobacco, MD 20677. Interment will be at a later date.
