Francis Lee Reynolds, 93, of Leonardtown, MD died on September 29, 2014 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD.

Lee was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II and was the owner/operator of the Glasva Shell Station for 35 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Newport Catholic Church in Charlotte Hall, MD and Holy Face Catholic Church in St. Mary's County. Pop Reynolds was recently inducted into the Maryland International Raceway "Hall of Fame" where he enjoyed drag racing. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing, playing cards, and in his youth was a great baseball player.

He is the son of the late Norman Lee Reynolds and the late Edna Stonestreet Reynolds. He is also predeceased by his first wife, Helen Spalding Reynolds and a late son-in-law, Jimmy Sisson. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Owens Reynolds; two sons, Francis L. Reynolds, Jr. and Ronnie Reynolds and his wife Denise; two daughters, Nancy Sisson and Patti Murphy; and two step-sons, Bill Owens and his wife Kathy and Jim Owens and his wife Mary. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends received on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 4-8PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. An additional visitation will be on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 9AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at the St. Mary's Newport Catholic Church, 11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment at a later date at the church cemetery.
