Frances Ann Cookmeyer, of Newburg, MD died on September 3, 2014 at her residence with Hospice. She was 88 years old.

Frances was a homemaker and was the daughter of the late James George Ingram and the late Reta Eyer Ingram. She was also predeceased by her brother, Digby Ingram.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 68 years, Vernon C. Cookmeyer; her sons, James Kevin Cookmeyer and Cameron Cookmeyer; and her daughters, Reta Wood, Mindy Cookmeyer, and Holly Shaver. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.

Interment with Committal Service on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 1PM at the MD Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
