Kenneth Walker, 60, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away on May 21, 2014 at St. Mary's County Hospice House in Callaway, MD. He was born on December 16, 1953 in Rapid City, South Dakota to the late Emmett Clayton Walker and the late Beryl Mary Walker.

Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, football, coaching baseball and biking. He also loved traveling with his wife, April. He retired from Charles County Public Schools in 2010.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 35 years, April Walker of Charlotte Hall, MD; sons, Kenny Walker Jr. and wife Debbie of Nanjemoy, MD, Jeremy Walker and wife Ginny of Mechanicsville, MD, and Matthew Walker of Charlotte Hall, MD; sister, Susan Walker of Waldorf, MD; brothers, Stephen Walker and wife, Karla of Mechanicsville, MD, and Stuart Walker of Chesapeake Beach; and one grandchild due in August.

Family and friends will be received for Kenneth's Memorial Life Celebration Gathering on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, at the funeral home. Rev. James Chance will officiate. Inurnment, with Military Honors, will follow to Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
