Matthew Scott Regalia Jr., 27, of Bryans Road passed away Feb 21, 2014. Born December 31, 1986, he was the beloved son of Scott and Gayle Regalia of Bryans Road.

Matthew leaves behind his wife, Kayla and two loving brothers, Joshua and Christopher Regalia.

Matt attended Charles County public schools then traveled to Alaska where he received his Alaska state high school diploma. Matthew worked for Pembrooke Radiology Imaging before following his grandfather's footsteps into the electrical field. Matt was recently sworn into The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 26.

Matthew was a sports fanatic and was a die hard Cowboys, Michigan State and National's fan. Matt loved music, fishing and playing basketball. He shared his family's passion for drag racing and loved to watch his dad race. Matt was kind, caring and loving and held a special place in his heart for the children in his life.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lester Rackey Sr. and is survived by grandparents, Shirley Rackey of Bryans Road, Susan McGuire of Indian Head (Eddie), and Floyd Regalia (Genie) of Beaverdam, VA. In addition he leaves behind a host of relatives; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, February 28th, 2-4 and 6-8pm, with a memorial service at 10am on March 1st. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Md.
