Taylor, Carolyn Margaret (Age 62) of Waldorf, Maryland.

On Friday, February 14, 2014 Carolyn Margaret Taylor was suddenly called home. Carolyn was born on December 11, 1951 to the late Albert and the late Margaret Curtis.

She attended and graduated from Ballou Senior High School. Shortly after graduating high school, she married Warren Taylor, the love of her life. Warren passed at the early age of 27.

In her early adult years, Carolyn became a dental technician and worked for the Federal Government at the Women's Detention Center. She decided to leave her career as a dental technician and focus on what she really loved, children in need. She dedicated her life to raising children in need. Carolyn loved and raised many abandoned and disabled children. When the system gave up on them, she fought for them. When the doctors said they would never walk or talk, she proved them wrong. Carolyn was known for her big and giving heart. She would go without to help someone else. "No, I cannot help", were not words heard from her. She was "pure love" and to leave us on a day of love, Valentine's day, is not a coincidence.

Carolyn had a special gift. She made everyone close to her feel as though they were her favorite and in reality, we were all her favorites. She continued the legacy of her parents, and had an open door policy. Many family members knew they always had a place to lay their heads or a bite to eat as long as Carolyn had a home.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Lawrence Curtis(Celestine), Jeanella Taylor (John), William Taylor, Lashawn Taylor (Robert), Donte Smith, Eric Taylor, Cassandra Taylor, Kai Jai Taylor, and David Taylor, four sisters; Pauline Fortune (Samuel), Marion Walker (Leroy), Alice Clark (Winfield), Pamela Henderson (John) and three brothers; Albert Curtis (Theodora) and Roger Grooms (Anita); sister-in-law, Diane Curtis, grandchildren; Carol Ann, Lonnell, Trayvon, Jenai, Arrianna, Sinia, Elijah, Tyrone, Naomi and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in glory are her grandchildren, Lawrence and Shadaya, brother, George.
