Ellsworth Pinkney Beverage, 83, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away January 19, 2014 at his residence. Born November 28, 1930 in Buckeye, West Virginia he was the son of Kenton H. Beverage and Alice Roosevelt Webster Beverage.

Ellsworth worked as an engineer for Southern Railway until his retirement. He was a member of Company 21 of the Oxon Hill Fire Department and was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.

Ellsworth was predeceased by his parents; wife, Marjorie Jean Beverage; daughter, Kathryn Jean Hill; son-in-law, Richard Force; grandson, Richard "Ricky" Force; and brothers, Harper Beverage and Lewis Wayne Beverage.

He is survived by sons, Dennis Lee Beverage of Mechanicsville, MD and Robert Wayne Beverage (Lois) of Chaptico, MD; daughters, Anita Marshall (Glenn) of Leland, NC, Marianne Force (Ricardo) of White Plains, MD and Janet Marie Vance (Jim) of King George, VA; son-in-law, Ron Hill; grandchildren, Joseph Marshall (Sandra), Melissa Beale (Shane), Lisa Reithmeyer (Jason), Matthew Vance and Kathryn Hill and two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Shane Beale. Additional blessings to the family through marriage are step-grandchildren, James Vance (B), Tara Metcalf (Mike), Meredith Johnson (Brent) and Megan Green (Chris); great grandchildren, Natasha Marshall, Ethan and Tyler Johnson, Christopher, James, and William Green, Fia, Gracie and Jasmine Vance and Kayla, Katherine, Matthew, and Michael Metcalf; sisters, Stella Mungul and Nancy Williams.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Life Celebration on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 12:00-2:00p.m.at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m. Pastor Timothy McNutt from St. Paul's Lutheran Church will officiate.
