Norman L. Lynch of Charlotte Hall, Maryland, died at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD on December 1, 2013. He was 72 years old. Born on January 7, 1941 in Roxana, Delaware he was the son of the late Helen Evelyn and the late Ronald Vester Lynch.

Mr. Lynch served in the U. S. Navy for 21 years and was Honorably Discharged as a Chief Petty Officer and an Aviation Structural Mechanic. He then worked on heating, air conditioning and refrigeration on Capitol Hill.

He was a Mason with the Patuxent Masonic Lodge for 39 years, a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and a member of the American Legion Post 209 in District Heights, MD. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins and watching his grandchildren grow up.

He is survived by his wife Mary Grace Lynch; his children Beth Dawson and her husband Ken, Norman Lynch Jr. and his wife Tracey, Mary Yanchulis and her husband Jon, and Alan Lynch; his siblings Shirley Collins and her husband George and Barry Lee Lynch; his grandchildren Bryan Yanchulis, Julianna Dawson, Meghan Yanchulis, Emma Dawson, Sarah Dawson, Aspen Lynch, Connor Lynch and Lauren Yanchulis.

Visitation on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 6PM to 8PM and on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 11AM to 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD 20646 where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 12Noon. A private interment will be held at a later date.
