Charles "Chuckie" P. Anderson, 62, of Mechanicsville, MD., passed away on October 26, 2013 in Baltimore, MD. Born on July 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Juanita Alvey Anderson.

Charles is survived by his loving wife Barbara Anderson, whom he married in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Mechanicsville, MD on October 22, 1982.

Chuckie is survived by his children Brent Middleton (Jessica) of Waldorf, MD, Sherri Jenkins (Frank) of Mechanicsville, MD, Kayla Cannon (Samuel) of Baltimore, MD, 3 grandchildren, and brother Harold Anderson, Jr. of Mechanicsville, MD.

Chuckie is preceded in death by his brother David Anderson. He graduated from Chopticon High School in 1969 and in construction for CMI Contractors for 8 years retiring on October 30, 1996.

Chuckie enjoyed antique Tractor Pulling, race car driving, farming, he was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed his family and friends, he had an infectious laugh.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 9:30 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Mechanicsville, MD with Father William Gurnee officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Catholic Cementery, Helen, MD. Pallbearers will be; Chris Anderson, Mark Hancock, Bill Hancock, Wayne Raley, John Joy and Tommy Bowles. Honorary Pallbearers; Wilbur Tippett, Guy Tippett, Carolyn Mummert, Kaitlin Sumperl, Brent Middleton, and Mickey Copsey.
