Edward Raymond Morrill, 73, of Hughesville, MD passed away on August 13, 2013 at Hospice House of Charles County in Waldorf, MD.

He was born on April 13, 1940, son of the late Edward Raymond Morrill and the late Mary Delphine (Mazzolini) Morrill.

Edward served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed line dancing and dominos. Family came first to Edward and he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Anything you needed, he would take care of

In addition to his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brother, Dan Morrill; one of his grandchildren, Landon Morrill; his son-in-law, David Dyson; and his daughter-in-law, Donna Morrill.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Morrill of Hughesville, MD; his children, Terry Morrill (Colleen), Ted Morrill (Betsy), and Tracy Dyson; and 10 grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received for Edward's Life Celebration on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with prayers beginning at 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Mass on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 7185 Benedict Avenue, Benedict, MD 20612. Interment will follow to St. Mary's Bryantown Church Cemetery in Bryantown, MD.
