Paula Jeanne "PJ" Vevers, 63 of Mechanicsville, Maryland was called home on Tuesday, June 12th 2013 at Georgetown Hospital surrounded by the men in her life; her cherished husband Frank and sons Kevin and Brent.

Her love, talent, energy, and heart were endless. She had a passion for life. She was gifted and talented in all things creative including painting, jewlery designing, crocheting, sewing, crafting, floral arranging, geneology, and so much more. She was an avid reader and prolific writer.

She was formerly employed by the College of Southern Maryland under the Corporate and Comm. Training institute. PJ was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President.

PJ was a devoted wife, mother, "nana" aunt, and friend. She was happy and loved sharing her life with her husband Frank Vevers of 23 years, her two sons Kevin Stees and Brent Stees and her four grandchildren. Kevin along with wife Jocelyn of Colonial Beach, Virginia have two sons Thomas and Taylor. Brent along with wife Wendy together have two children Colin and Isabella Stees of Pasadena, Maryland.

She is also survived by her beloved sister Irene Armstrong Zangla of La Plata and brother Thomas White of Laurel, mother-in-law Helen Vevers, brother-in-law Ed Vevers, and sister-in-law Patti Parvis all of White Plains, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
PJ is the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine White.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday June 20 from 1pm to 2pm with the memorial service starting at 2pm at Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Liver Foundation.
