Mildred Anita (Turner) Keese, 84, of Mechanicsville, MD died June 14, 2013 at home in Mechanicsville, MD with Hospice.

She was born on December 4, 1928 in Mechanicsville (Ryceville), MD, daughter of the late George Dudley Turner and the late Sarah Ann Swann Turner.

Mrs. Keese was a farmer on the Turner farm and a housewife. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Newport and also a member of the Ladies Guild. She also volunteered for church events. Mrs. Keese enjoyed going to dances with her husband and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William E. Keese, Jr., and her sisters, Catherine Turner and Irma Virginia Turner.

Mrs. Keese is survived by her son, William Earl Keese, III. And his wife, Pamela Ann; grandson, Joseph William Keese; godchild, Cindy Apperson; nieces, Barbara Essig and Nancy Burton; caregivers, Sharon Humphrey, Karen Lyons, and Antoinette Lyons; and many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for Mrs. Keese's Life Celebration on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church of Newport, 9560 Trinity Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment will follow to the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Donnie Apperson, Pat Turner, Calvin Bowling, Sammy Swann, Samuel Graves, and Tommy Swann.
