Martha Ann Catterton, 68, of Hurlock, MD died on June 5, 2013 at the Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge, MD.

She was born on December 21, 1944 in Annapolis, MD to the late Howard and Martha Halbig. She is also pre deceased by her husband Charles S. Catterton. She is survived by her children Kevin Catterton and his girlfriend Terri Gregory, Charles Catterton, Jr., Mary Jane Myers and her husband Ernie, brothers Jimmy Halbig, Brian Halbig, and Michael Halbig, sister Lewellen Just, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She lived in Charles County from 1963 until moving to the Eastern Shore in 2007. She worked as a cook for the Charles County Board of Education for 30 years, loved gardening and her fish ponds. She also loved taking care of her children and grandchildren and also volunteered with the meals on wheels.

The family will receive friends on Monday June 10, 2013 from 11 am until service time at 1 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, Md. 20646. Interment to follow at the Trinity Memorial gardens Waldorf, MD.
