Albert Charles Kimble, Jr., 64 of Lexington Park, Maryland, entered the Gates of Heaven on Monday, June 3, 2013. Albert, Jr. was born August 10,1948 to the late Albert Sr. and Dorothy Alice Kimble in Washington, DC and was raised in Clinton Md.

He received his education from Surrattsville High School, Clinton, Maryland and also attended Lincoln Tech for automotive repair in Landover, Maryland. Albert attended The Church of Latter Day Saints in Camp Springs, Maryland, where he was baptized.

Albert was employed at Kimble's Automotive for 40+ years; This is the business his late parents, brother and himself built. As a child growing up, he loved to play baseball in the fields behind the shop with friends and family. He also played basketball for Surrattsville High School.

Albert married Carla Settle on January 6, 1972. From their union of marriage, they had three children. He was a devoted father and grandfather who always made sure his family was taken care of; putting them before himself at all times. He relocated to Lexington Park, Maryland in 2004, where he lived the remaining years of his life.

In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Kimble and very close friend, Terri Shaw.

Albert is survived by his sons, Carlton Kimble and Christopher Kimble, Sr.; daughter, Elizabeth (Betty) Kimble; daughters-in-law, Cening Kimble and Theresa Hardy; grandchildren, Keyoshia, Steven, Adreanna, Ashley, Brittney, Makayla, Christopher, Jr., Karaliegh, Nicholas, and Angela, all from Lexington Park, Maryland.

Family will unite with friends on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 for visitation at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3165 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD.
