Douglas Goode Keesee, 75 of Mechanicsville, MD, formerly of Bowie, MD died March 30, 2013 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD. Born May 31, 1936 in Wyllesville, VA, he was the son of Roy Goode Keesee and Elizabeth May West Keesee.

Douglas was loving husband of Gloria Ann Mayhew, his high school sweetheart.

He is the proud father of daughters, Debra A. Keesee, Donna M. Dunn, Pamela L. Moran, and Patricia K. Davis and son in law William "Dusty" Davis, brother, Albert Keesee, Sister Linda Santiff, 2 Grandchildren Hunter Douglas Dunn and Collin Ray Keesee Dunn.

Douglas is predeceased by his parents, his wife and his brother Willard Lee Keesee.

Douglas grew up in Prince George's County, MD. An avid outdoor's man, Douglas loved hunting, fishing, boating and being on the water. He was a member of the Hunting Club named after his father, Roy G. Keesee Memorial Hunt Club. Douglas worked as a heavy equipment operator and was known to many as the best of his time. One of his most memorial jobs was planting all the trees around the FBI building in Washington, DC.

The family will receive friends for Douglas' Life Celebration on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00pm.
