Robert Graham McAllister was born in Speedwell, VA on February 11, 1920 to James and Ellen McAllister. He passed away on February 6, 2013 at his home in Huntingtown, MD at the age of 92.

He is the loving father of Robert Alan McAllister, Doug Shelton, Cheryl McAllister and Patti Shelton; devoted grandfather of Robert Alan McAllister, Jr., Mark Davis, Wanda Davis, Richard L. Gaither, Nikki McAllister and Joy Gaither; great grandfather of Ashlie Davis, Kelcie Davis, Samantha Gaither, Emily Gaither, Richard G. Gaither and Jake McAllister.

Robert served in the CCC's from 1935 to 1938 and in the United States Navy during World War II from 1942 until 1945.
