Alice Diane Windsor, 66, of Cumberland, MD, formerly of Brandywine, MD, passed away at her residence on February 4, 2013. She was born on January 10, 1947 in Upper Marlboro, MD to the late Frank S. Richards, Sr. and the late Alice Naomi (Hall) Richards.

She worked in a deli as a food prep/cook and retired in 1999. Alice enjoyed cooking, watching T.V., and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Walter Windsor; and two of her brothers, Robert A. Richards and Francis W. Richards.

Alice is survived by her children, Tracy M. Murphy of Cumberland, MD, Gail L. Hardesty of Lothian MD, Gary M. Windsor of Lothian MD, Stephen (Chris) Windsor of Cheltenham, MD; her brothers, Frank S. Richards, Jr., and Clayton Richards, both of Brandywine, MD; her 8 grandchildren, Richard Windsor of Brandywine, MD, Brandan Murphy, Rebecca Murphy, Shelly Murphy, Aaron Murphy, and Brittany Murphy, all of Cumberland MD, Megan and Wade Windsor of Cheltenham MD; and 3 great grandchildren, Alyssa Murphy, Alix Murphy, and Jaden Dilley, all of Cumberland MD.

Family and friends will be received for Alice's Life Celebration on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Service on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Maryland Veteran Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623. Interment will immediately follow at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Churchwell, John Guillickson, Shawn Farrell, Berry "Chubby" Garner, III., Phillip Farrell, Berry "Bubba" Garner, Jr. Alternate Pallbearer will be Wade Windsor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert "Buck" Young, Elsie Young, and Elsie Dent.
